From One Jewish Carpenter on The Greatest Jewish Carpenter
People who build things often have a different perspective on life. As an engineer friend of mine once told me we are neither glass half full or half empty kind of people. We just think the glass is the wrong size. A mentor of mine, J.Warner Wallace, once told me to find your lane and run in it. He also happens to be a trained architect.
One day I will reveal who I am, but for now a little background. I am a Jew. Like Martin Luther King Jr. who described himself as a "Race Man". I too am a "Race Man". I believe that God has made us the way we are physically and spiritually for a very unique reason only completely revealed through the fervent pursuit of God's will. God's will can only be found in the Hebrew scriptures and New Covenant writings more commonly known as the New Testament.
Yes thats right I said the New Testament, or as Jews commonly call it the Brit Hadesha. It may come as a shock to some of you that Jesus, Yeshua, is a Jew. In fact all the writers of the New Testament were Jews despite their anglicized names.
I have been described by many as a master cabinetmaker. Though I know true master cabinet makers and trust me, I fall short. I however do have many years in the trade of cabinet making, furniture making, carpentry, building, and the art of luthiery. I hold a degree in Jewish and Biblical studies. Thus here I have arrived at "my lane". I am a Jewish carpenter who believes based on all the evidence, Yeshua, Jesus, the carpenter from Nazareth is indeed the Jewish Messiah.
This means that I take on a happy burden of giving a defense for the hope that is within me. This defense will be made through the worlds of Philosophy, Science, and good ole common sense. I hope to enlighten you if you are a gentile about the mysteries of the Bible which can only be revealed from a Jewish perspective. And perhaps even persuade you to join me in sharing the Gospel with your Jewish friends and neighbors.
May God Bless You and Keep You,
A Jewish Carpenter
